Gina Frangello

Gina Frangello's short fiction has appeared in more than a dozen places such as Prairie Schooner, Chicago Reader and American Literary Review. She is executive editor of the award-winning literary magazine Other Voices, is a freelance book reviewer for the Chicago Tribune, and has taught creative writing at the University of Illinois-Chicago and Columbia College. Gina has masters degrees in both, psychology and creative writing. She lives in Chicago with her husband and their identical twin daughters.

Molly McQuade

Molly McQuade has worked as an editor and writer at such diverse places as American Library Association, Great Books Foundation, Publishers Weekly, BooklistNational Book Critics CircleParis Review, Nelson Algren Awards, Hungry Mind Review, and elsewhere. Her own writing has been recognized by PEN, The Pew Charitable Trusts, New York Foundation for the Arts and others, and has appeared in literary journals such as The American Scholar, BOMB, TriQuarterly, Southern Review, Virginia Quarterly Review, and others. She has published a book of author interviews [An Unsentimental Education], a book of essays [Stealing Glimpses], and an anthology [By Herself]. Her essays and articles have run in the Washington Post, Atlantic, Village Voice, San Francisco Chronicle, Yale Review, and others. Molly travels widely and lives in New York much of the time.

Linda K. Wendling

Peculiar Pilgrims: Stories From the Left Hand of God

about:

Linda Wendling received the 2006 Starr Fellowship for her novel-in-progress, recently finished a Writer-in-Residence for H.E. Butt Foundation, and was a recent  Milton Center Fellow at Image Journal. She is a Best New Writers of the South winner, a Heartland Fiction Prize winner, and a Ploughshares "Emerging Writer" nominee. She was a finalist for the William Faulkner Prize, James Jones First Novel Fellowship, and Bellwether Prize. Her fiction has appeared in River Styx, Micro Fiction [a Norton anthology], and elsewhere. She has an M.A. and M.F.A., and has been a writing coach and teacher for many years. Linda lives in St. Louis, where she and her husband are active in several Mennonite service and cultural projects in their community.

W.C. Scheurer has degrees in religious studies and jurisprudence. His work has appeared in publications as diverse as Downstate Story, Peacework Magazine, St. Anthony Messenger, and Fellowship Magazine. He is the author of a theology book, us & them: bridging the chasm of faith. Bill is a peace activist, and lives with his wife, the artist Randi Layne Scheurer, in the Chicago area.

Professor Homan is an award winning  teacher, director, actor, writer and editor. His many published books and other works include material by and about Shakespeare, Beckett, Stoppard, Pinter, Feiffer, Shepard, Chekhov, Wilde, Shaw, Williams, Churchill, and others, as well as memoirs and short stories. Dr. Homan also belongs to the improv group,"Yes, But... !" His current projects include a collaboration on a book examining the figure of Hitler in Hollywood movies. Sidney and his wife have four children. He teaches at the University of Florida.
